So it’s another week and I have another Halloween tutorial for everyone. Last week’s Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas went down really well so I decided to do another requested look. This week’s look is a creepy clown. This was requested by a few people but mainly it was one of the ones I wanted to do myself! So let’s get into it!
Step 1: Cover your eyebrows with glue stick or Pritt Stick. Check out this video tutorial to see how.
Step 2: Paint your face white with some face paint. I used a Snazaroo one.
Step 3: Draw on some really arched eyebrows with black gel eyeliner. Start them where your natural brow begins and draw a thin high arched brow.
Step 4: Use a black eyeshadow on your eyelids and below your eye. This can be as messy as you like really. Use a blending brush to blend it out giving a smudged look. Make sure to blend right into the side of your nose and down under your eyes. This will give you the hollowed out eyes look.
Step 5: Take a blue face paint, eyeliner or eyeshadow and draw small triangles above and below the pupils of each eye. Again this can be as messy as you like.
Step 6: Outline a big clown smile with some black gel eyeliner. Then starting at the center of your lips, outline some sharp pointy teeth. The top teeth should be along your top lip and the bottom teeth along your bottom lip.
Step 7: Fill in the teeth with white face paint. Then fill in all the gaps with black gel eyeliner like in the picture above.
Step 8: Go around the mouth with red lipstick or red face paint to form a big creepy grin. As you can see I didn't stick to my original design because I felt it needed to be a lot curvier on the top and bottom. Outline all the red with black gel eyeliner and draw two smile lines on either side of the mouth.
Step 9: Use the same red to draw on a red nose. The nose I chose was the same as the clown from IT but just draw it in any shape you like.
Finally add a big red wig! I didn't have a clowns wig so instead took the wig from last week’s tutorial and backcombed it. It gives it a really good messy appearance. To make yourself look extra creepy for pictures, smile and open your eyes nice and wide for a more manic look.
So that’s it for this week’s tutorial. Let me know what you think in the comments below. And if you have any requests for Halloween looks, please let me know!
Bye for now,
