Lush Treats for Mother’s Day and Easter

Some Lush treats! 

So this Sunday is Mother’s Day, the day where we celebrate the wondrous creatures and creators, the mammy. Mammy’s are always there for you, with the unwavering support and loyalty. So they kind of deserve a present! Haven’t got one sorted yet? Well then look no further than Lush. To celebrate Mother’s Day and the upcoming Easter, Lush has brought out a selection of goodies perfect for some pampering and they sent some along to me for review.  

Secret Garden bath bomb

The Secret Garden bath bomb (€3.25) is an adorable little bomb that won’t break the bank. This bath bomb smells so pretty and floral. It scented with roses, sweet wild orange and rosewood oils. Plus when you drop it in a bath, once the bubbles and fizz is over, you’ll be left with a bath full of petals. I love when Lush do bath bombs with secret confetti inside. Yes it’s a pain to clean up but your bath sure does look pretty!

Madame Butterfly bubble bar wand

Next is Madame Butterfly re-usable bubble bar wand (€6.95). This is just one of the three re-usable bubble bar wands that Lush brought out for Mother’s Day. I love the idea of these wands. You swirl them around in the bath to create your bubbles and then leave to one side for your next bath. You can get up to six baths out of one wand, so it’s great value. Madame Butterfly is a pretty pink butterfly that just smells divine. It’s again quite floral scented with just a lovely hint of citrus.

Henata bath ballistic

Then for Easter there is the Heñata bath ballistic (€5.95), which is just the coolest idea. Basically this is a piñata in the shape of a hen, for your bath! Crack this off the side of your bath and it will burst out with some awesome surprises. Remember how I said I love secret confetti? Well this has tons of it! The confetti inside is made up of soap paper, flower petals and a small egg of ballistic mix. The half orange/half yellow bath ballistic has a very citrus scent with tangerine and mandarin oils ingredients.

Fluffy Egg bath ballistic

Lastly for Easter is the Fluffy Egg bath ballistic (€3.95). This cute pink Easter egg shaped ballistic has cute little candy flowers decorating it. It is extremely sweet smelling and smells exactly like one of my favourite Lush shower gels, Snow Fairy, like bubblegum and marshmallows.  I love this candy smelling bath treat but be warned, some people can’t handle the sweetness!

So that’s all I have to show you from Lush’s Mother’s Day and Easter treats.
