Valentine’s Day at Lush

So Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Lush have some wonderful new products to celebrate. Now I am not the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day but I am the biggest fan of Lush. So I was delighted when I was sent a few of their Valentine’s products to review and share with you.

From Dusk 'Til Dawn 

First up is From Dusk ‘Til Dawn massage bar (€6.50). This conical shape of this bar confused me when I first got it but it wasn't until I read the attached release that I understood the cone shape. Basically the pointy end can be used to rub out any knotted muscles. Now I am a nurse so my back is basically all knots and aches. My boyfriend used this to give me a back massage and I must say I was super impressed. The pointy end works right into the sore muscles better than nearly anything I've ever tried at home. It melts into an oil rather quickly once it touches your skin and this oil is perfect for massaging with. The boyfriend remarked that it lasted longer on the skin than most oils so perfect for a good long back rub. Then there is the scent. In bar form, the scent of orange, lemon and ginseng is very strong and almost overpowering. However use it on the skin and the scent disperses into a pleasant and uplifting scent. I really like this massage bar and I would recommend it to anyone with a sore back.

The Kiss lip gloss

Next is The Kiss lip gloss (€7.25). This lip gloss comes in a little tin pot and has a perfect baby pink colour. The gloss itself feels more like a balm but does moisturise and soften the lips. It leaves a tiny hint of pink on the lips too. The scent of The Kiss is almost identical to the scent of their famous Snow Fairy shower gel. It tastes like their Bubblegum lip scrub, sugary and sweet. I love the taste of this lip gloss and I’m pretty sure so will your Valentine!

Euphoria perfume

Lastly is Euphoria perfume (€12.50 for 7g), which is part of the new Set in Stone collection for Lush’s Gorilla perfume range. The Set in Stone collection has nine new perfumes in a selection of six different size bottles, from 7g to 92g. Euphoria’s main scents include Clary sage, grapefruit, lime and neroli. I find this to be quite a masculine scent and is not something I would personally choose. However if you like stronger and more masculine scents, this could be the one for you.
