Max Factor Glossfinity

Max Factor Glossfinity

Max Factor has always worked to keeping their collections up-to-date and on trend and this seasons introduction of the Glossfinity range of nail polishes is no different. The Glossfinity range includes 26 news shades, priced at €7.49 each, that have been divided into four shade collections, each inspired by catwalk styles. The four collections including The Orient Express, The Dark Romance Collection, Punk Pinks and Wear it Bear Collection have a range of brights, darks and neutrals in very wearable colours. I got sent four polishes from the new range.

From L to R: Cerise, Angel Nails, Amethyst and Burgundy Crush

The first colour Cerise is a bright orange/red colour. This looks like a bright orange in daylight but a deep red in other lighting. The next shade, Angel Nails, is a perfect platinum colour. It is a beautiful metallic shimmery gold/silver shade that just looks divine in the sunlight. Amethyst is probably my favourite of the bunch, mainly because it’s my birthstone colour. It is a deep and dark purple colour. Lastly I was sent Burgundy Crush, which is a perfect deep and rich berry shade. In daylight this shows up quite like a deep pink, but in indoors lighting looks more burgundy.

#The formulation on each of these shades, and all the shades in the collection, leaves a high gloss look. Max Factor claim that the polish will last up to 7 days, which I have to disagree with. I found the nails chipped after 2 to 3 days wear, but that was without any topcoat. I imagine the addition of the topcoat and you could easily get 4 or 5 days wear from these. In all the shades I was sent, I found they were very creamy and pigmented so lovely to work with on the nails. All of the swatches shown are two coats of each polish. I liked these polishes so much I was actually inspired to do some nail art, which I haven’t done in months.

My NOTD

Unfortunately quite messy and a little smudged as I did this just before heading to bed (when will I ever learn!), but a lovely colour combination in my opinion. So that’s all I have to show you today. Let me know below in the comments what you think of these new Glossfinity polishes!

Bye for now,

Mars
